About Me
I was born in El Paso, Texas, adopted as a baby, and raised in Glendive, Montana. Although my birth father was from Juárez, Mexico, and my birth mother was from West Texas, I spent all my formative years in Montana and grew to love everything the state has to offer.
I attended Montana State University and the University of Iowa, earning degrees in mathematics and law. Additionally, I was called up as a National Guardsman and served in the U.S. Army during the Persian Gulf War.
I’ve always been a big fan of the Western genre and the Old West, spending countless hours reading Western fiction and history. Besides reading and writing, I enjoy taking advantage of Montana's outdoor activities, spending time with my wife, and watching my son play sports.
